The SWIFT Baguette - A Petite Shoulder Bag with Unique Design Features
As the saying goes, 'Good things come in small packages', and that statement definitely holds true with the SWIFT Baguette - the newest pattern release from Lockwood & Webb Designs.
This petite shoulder bag measures 9" (23cm) in width, 6.5" (16.5cm) in height and 3" (7.6cm) in diameter, giving you plenty of room for all the necessities. Some of the features are an interior zipper pocket, slip pocket with the added credit card slots, a unique top zipper to keep everything inside and secure, two outer slip pockets which are perfectly sized to hold your phone or any other items that you like to keep handy, and an additional credit card slot.
Like most of our patterns, we always like to include "options", giving you the opportunity to truly make SWIFT perfect for you, or your client. Included are three different strap styles. A chain strap that makes SWIFT the perfect evening bag, a fixed size shoulder strap with accents to compliment your SWIFT perfectly, and an adjustable shoulder strap option that walks you through an easy, but beautiful way to accommodate multiple hardware sizes. Make one or all three to give your SWIFT a different look with a quick change of the strap. This pattern also includes two styles of zipper overlays, one simple and stylish, the other giving you the perfect spot to add your logo or tag. You can choose is to add the center divided slip pocket, because really - can you ever have too many pockets? or leave it out.
SWIFT is designed as a raw edged bag, meaning it is suitable for leather, cork or vinyl, and if using the recommended leather weight skiving won't be necessary. Edge painting will finish your edges giving you a more polished look, but also is not required.
SVG cut files for ALL the pieces, not just the tricky ones, are included, but a longer mat will be needed.
