Patterns for Fresh and Fun Bagwear and Accessories

Our GOLDFINCH is now available!

Hi everyone - we hope you and your families are all staying healthy and safe during this very strange and difficult time.  With things changing daily, events being cancelled and so much uncertainty it's nice to see some normalcy ...... the trees beginning to bud, people outside cutting their grass, kids riding their bikes and yes - bag designers still designing!

We had the wonderful opportunity to be included as an upcoming design team in the recent Bag of the Month Club Rising Stars Edition.  Since we are the 'new kids on the block', we not only appreciated the chance to introduce ourselves to the club members & show them the quality of our patterns, but we got to hang out with Samantha Hussey from Patterns by Mrs. H, Janelle MacKay of Emmaline Bags, Diane Spencer Ogg from Spencer Ogg Sewing Patterns, and Tara Sinclair of Uh Oh Creations. Thank you ladies!

Our Goldfinch was the January design, and we have anxiously been waiting for May 1st to roll around so we could release this beautiful curvaceous gal to those of you who may not have taken part in the BOMC, via our website and Etsy page!

As with most of our designs, we offer more than one size, and our Goldfinch is no exception!  The Goldfinch Clutch is very classy & elegant for those who prefer a smaller bag.  The pattern for the clutch gives you the option of two different closure methods, either a twist lock or magnetic snap.  The Goldfinch Handbag has a beautiful zippered closure as well as a new type of internal slip pocket.  And we just couldn't stop there!  We will also be releasing the Goldfinch Weekender in the next few weeks! This new girl will have additional design features that we know you will LOVE!!!!

The Goldfinch will be available individually, for those who are only interested in one size, and also as a bundle.  The Weekender will be added to the line up once she is back from our testers.  Yes we test ALL of our patterns.   Even if the change only appears to be a size change, since we don't just reduce or enlarge the print size, we make sure each piece fits proportionately, make sure the seam allowances don't distort the end product, as well as add features that we feel compliment each size.

Thank you again for all your support of Lockwood & Webb Designs.  We hope you enjoy our new Goldfinch patterns.

Happy Sewing,

Gwen & Natell
