Lockwood & Webb Year in Review
What a year!
2020 was definitely a very different year for all of us, but it was also a year filled with excitement and new things for Lockwood & Webb Designs. As I sit here and think back about our Year in Review, I can't help but feel extremely proud of what Natell & I were able to accomplish. Here is our Year in Review with some pictures of our patterns made by YOU, our wonderful customers!!
In January we were honored to be asked to be one of the designers for the Bag of the Month Club. The BOMC has been something both Natell & I have belonged to as subscribers, have been pattern testers for many of the talented bag designers who participate, and so to be one of the designers was a pretty big deal for us! To introduce our BOMC Pattern - Our Goldfinch Clutch & our Goldfinch Handbag, we started a YouTube channel, & have added a few tips & tricks on there throughout the year. Although this area is completely out of both of our comfort zones, we will be adding more videos in the upcoming year.
February we decided to take another big step and open our website. We celebrated this opening with the release of our Little Robin Accessory Holder which was extremely popular & kick started our Accessory Line of pdf patterns. We added in our Hummingbird (which was our first Lockwood & Webb pattern & is available in a variety of sizes) along with our Chickadee and Natell started offering hardware kits & stabilizers that we often use in our patterns.

In March we released the BlueJay Crossbody, May the Goldfinch Clutch & Handbag patterns were released to the public, and then in June we added our Goldfinch Weekender.

In September we were featured in the monthly publication of Meet the Designer in the Creative Bag Making Group on Facebook, which was fun as lots of our followers don't realize that Natell is in Australia & I am in Canada; thus making this pattern making project of ours a bit tricky.
The last part of the year we concentrated on our Accessory Line and released the Little Wren Hand Sanitizer in August and in December our Little Sparrow Glasses Case. We also decided to start including SVG files with these accessory patterns for those who own cutting machines making these patterns super quick.
So looking back over our year - Yes I am extremely proud of what we accomplished & knowing what Natell & I have planned for you in 2021 makes me very excited! Thank you so much for all your support. We greatly appreciate every time you like our designs, comment on our pages, purchase one of our patterns, and post your work! We hope you and your families stay safe, healthy & have a Very Merry Christmas. Cheers to a fabulous 2021 everyone!
From our homes to yours, Happy Ho Ho Ho!
Gwen & Natell
