The PUFFIN Pouch Release!

Our newest pattern release, The Puffin, may look familiar to those who have followed Natell and I for a while.  The Poppy Pouch was released back in 2016 …. it was Natell’s first pattern and I was a tester for her back then. Fast forward to Lockwood and Webb Designs, and we have refreshed, revised and renamed the Poppy to bring you The Puffin Pouch! 
 
The new design comes with the option to add straps and exterior pockets, an interior zipper pocket, as well as a unique interior slip pocket.   This cute, yet very roomy pouch is the perfect size for those who prefer to carry a smaller sized bag. 
 
As a handbag with the straps, the Large & Medium sizes easily hold a full-size wallet, a pair of glasses in their case, an additional pouch of toiletries, a cell phone, keys and more.  The Small size is petite, but still roomy enough for a small sized wallet, and a few necessity items.  The Small also makes the perfect first handbag for a little one!  I can definitely see Mommy and Me bags made from this pattern – how cute would that be as a Christmas gift!
 
When used without the straps and exterior pocket, it becomes the perfect pouch.  It makes a fantastic makeup bag since it opens wide and you can see everything that is inside, or a small bag to hold your sewing items. Really the uses are unlimited. I’ve even made some as essential oil holders!

Our pattern pieces also have a new look!  We have decided to start using what is known as a layered PDF file.  It is a unique way that lets you print (and see) only the sizes you need while allowing us to upload all this information in one file.
